A very strange thing that happens in my life is that I always see the same people. I'll illustrate some situations. In Brazil, I used to go to the gym at night, after work. I always saw the same people, which is something completely normal, people going to exercise at the same time. However, there was a period when I was on vacation and I went to the gym in the morning and surprisingly some of the people I saw at night, I saw in the morning. I found it very curious.

There was a period in my life when I lived in a city with a metropolitan area of ​​approximately 2 million inhabitants, but whenever I went out on the street somewhere, a shopping mall, downtown, beach, etc., I always saw someone I knew.

Here in the United States, this phenomenon doesn't stop happening. I'm at a college with thousands of people, but in the most random places possible, in the library, in the cafeteria, I see the same faces.

I'm not talking about people you spend time with because you're in the same space and routine as a coworker or classmate, but random people you only know by sight, but for some reason, you always end up meeting that person because you're in tune with going to the same places at that specific time.

Another curious thing is that I have the feeling that the faces of new people I spend time with look like people I've spent time with in the past, as if it were a repetition of patterns. Where I live has nothing to do with where I was before, but I feel like something in my mind is trying to connect the present with what I know from the past.
